Timber-harvest Special Use Permit — presentation (Tax Map #13.-1-42)
David Keel, a licensed Vermont forester with L&S Veneer, proposed harvesting timber from 32± acres of a 205± acre parcel at Paula’s Broad Meadows, LLC, in an RA district at 425 Master Street, adjacent to St. Croix Farm. The plan is not a clear cut but a thinning of mixed hardwoods. A small stream on the property will have a 50-foot “no-equipment” buffer and will not be crossed; estimated completion is April 1, 2026. The application, EAF, Agricultural Data Statement, map, and written harvest plan were submitted. A public hearing will be scheduled for the July 2, 2025 meeting, and Mr. Keel will provide the application fee at that time.
Doriski lot-line adjustment (Tax Map #11.-1-27.2 and #11.-1-27.1)
No one appeared. Chairman Alessandrini circulated the application and survey to reduce a 5.99± acre lot to a 1.01± acre lot with an existing house, garage, and pool house, in an RA district at 281/287 Hemstreet Road, leaving 90–100± residual acres. The property owners are Patricia Doriski Andes and her brother, a co-owner; an authorization form was submitted by email with a hard copy mailed, and the application fee was received. Vince Ragone moved to grant the lot-line adjustment; Kasey Casas seconded. Ayes: Alessandrini, Casas, Clow, Hale, Klotz, Ragone · Nays: None.
Adjournment
Kasey Casas moved to adjourn at 7:19 p.m.; Elizabeth Hale seconded.
Respectfully submitted by Elizabeth Hale, Clerk, Planning Board.
