The Town Board of the Town of Schaghticoke met in regular session on April 9, 2025 at the Town Hall, 290 Northline Drive, Melrose, at 6:30 p.m.

Approval of prior minutes

- Chris Kelly, Town Historian, discussed the first shot fired at Lexington and Concord that began the American Revolution.

Municipal cooperation — investment pool merger

MS4 public hearing set
To set a public hearing for May 14, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. on the MS4 stormwater report. Resolution: Akin · Second: Ward · Ayes: All · Nays: None.
Public comment
- A resident asked whether there was a timeframe for stop signs on County Route 114 (Master Street); the County will conduct a traffic-control study. Supervisor Salisbury noted the Town passed a resolution on December 13, 2023 and mailed a letter to the County on January 2, 2024 requesting two stop signs on County Route 114 at Akin Road, with a follow-up email on April 7, 2025.
- A resident asked which roads would be paved this year; Highway Superintendent Shawn Hayes will provide the list.
