Minutes of the Town Board, Town of Schaghticoke — June 8, 2022, at 290 Northline Drive, Melrose, NY. The Board met in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Present were Supervisor Salisbury and Councilmen Akin, Fogarty, Rustin, and Ward.

Reports from department heads
No department heads were present. Supervisor Salisbury reported that roads were being paved and that mowing along the roadsides was in progress.
Business
- Town Clerk bills from the Scheduled Payment Report dated June 8, 2022 approved, total $203,889.55 (Fogarty · Akin — Ayes: all; Nays: none).
- Appoint Amy Serson to replace Betty Gordan as Judge Ryan’s court clerk, beginning July 1, 2022 (Fogarty · Rustin — Ayes: all; Nays: none).
New business
Supervisor Salisbury reported that the town is in the process of accepting credit card payments and will look into the best options for the town and residents.
The Board is also reviewing the Zoning Law regarding digital signs. Currently no digital signs are allowed in the town; one already exists in the town and will be reviewed, and two are in the Village (which does not fall under Town zoning). The Town Board will look into zoning changes to clearly define sign regulations with specifications and site plan review, with conditions and stipulations referred to the Zoning and Planning Boards for comment.
