Regular meeting of the Town Board, Town of Schaghticoke — October 13, 2021, held at the Town Hall, 290 Northline Drive, Melrose, at 6:30 p.m. Present were Supervisor Salisbury and Councilmen Akin, Fogarty, and Westhead. Councilman Rustin was absent.

- Highway Superintendent Shawn Hayes gave his highway, water, and sewer report.
- Town Historian Chris Kelly discussed the condition around the veterans monument at the intersection of State Route 40 and Melrose Valley Falls Road, where a neighboring business was parking vehicles and trailers in the memorial space; she hoped it could be moved back to the Town Hall. She thanked Deputy Town Clerk and website administrator Emily Calhoun for posting the CD of the Schaghticoke, NY: A Nineteenth Century Mill Town book to the town website, and read historical articles about 1920s Pleasantdale.

- Town Clerk’s bills from the Scheduled Payment Report of October 13, 2021, totaling $556,065.41, approved (Fogarty · Akin — Ayes: all; Nays: none).
- Budget transfers (Akin · Westhead — Ayes: all; Nays: none):
- Increase A3410.1 and decrease the Fire Education reserve by $1,572.
- Increase A1460.4 (Records Management) and decrease A1990.4 (Contingent) by $500 for shredding records for the judges.
- Increase DA5130.2 (Equipment) and increase DA2665 (Sale of Equipment) by $82,000.
- Transfer $56,450.38 from ARPA funding and increase SW1-8310.2 for new meters and a software program.
