Office of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Town of Schaghticoke — June 3, 2021. The Board met via Zoom videoconference under the current Governor’s Executive Orders. Deputy Town Attorney Kristin Pratt explained the Zoom procedure, noted the meeting notice was posted in the newspapers, that the meeting was being recorded (to be posted to the town website and transcribed later), and that minutes were being taken.

Regular meeting
Chairman Ed McDonough opened the meeting at 7:30 PM with roll call. Present: Ed McDonough (Chairman), Rich Geddis, Kristin Griswold, Lettie Saheim, and Jason Shover. Absent: none. Deputy Town Attorney Kristin Pratt and Clerk Elizabeth Hale were also present.

Chairman McDonough stated he received no inquiries by phone, e-mail, or written material prior to the meeting.
The Board discussed whether the July meeting should be held in person at the Town Hall or virtually, suggesting the agenda dictate the decision. Attorney Pratt noted a bill was being considered regarding the Open Meetings Law and would keep the Board informed of whether it advances in the State Legislature, as it would affect options for future meetings. The Board noted that if there were no business on the agenda, a virtual meeting might be more appropriate.
