Regular meeting of the Town Board, Town of Schaghticoke — February 10, 2021, held via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Present were Supervisor Salisbury and Councilmen Akin, Fogarty, Rustin, and Westhead.

Department head reports
- Supervisor Salisbury reviewed the 2020 Year-End Permit Report submitted by building inspector Scott Frisino. The report showed 90 permits issued in 2020 (down from 100 in 2019), including 5 new homes, 14 window replacements, 9 decks and porches, 7 new garages, 4 solar installations, and 4 geothermal heat pumps, among others.
- Town Historian Chris Kelly reported she had used the COVID period to organize her office and files and would soon begin researching the Sunset Heights area of Speigletown.
- Highway Superintendent Shawn Hayes gave his water and sewer report.
Business
- Town Clerk’s bills from the Scheduled Payment Report of February 10, 2021, totaling $1,383,573.14, approved (Fogarty · Rustin — Ayes: all; Nays: none).
New business
Supervisor Salisbury said he hoped to present the Purple Heart dedication sign in April or May.
Public comment
A resident, who is also a fire chief from the Hemstreet Park area, asked about the ambulance district now being served by Hoosic Valley Ambulance instead of Clifton Park/Halfmoon, referencing a response-time study from several years earlier. Supervisor Salisbury said he would look into it.
