Office of the Town Board, Town of Schaghticoke — October 14, 2020, via Zoom at 6:30 PM. Present were Supervisor Salisbury and Councilmen Akin, Fogarty, Rustin, and Westhead.
Public hearing — consolidation of water districts
The meeting opened with a public hearing on the consolidation of water districts. Supervisor Salisbury explained that the water districts’ debt is now all paid and that consolidating would spread out the expenses of running the district. - Budget transfers (Rustin · Fogarty — Ayes: all; Nays: none): increase SW2-8310.2 and decrease fund balance by $7,000 for a new master meter; increase SW2-8320.4 and decrease fund balance by $2,500 for increased water usage; increase A1620.4 and decrease A1990.4 by $4,500 for moth infestation; increase SW6-8320.4 and decrease fund balance by $4,461 for a rider mower.
