Highway Superintendent Shawn Hayes gave his highway and water/sewer report. Town Historian Chris Kelly reported she was asked to give two speeches and is often asked to research the history of residents’ houses.

Public comment
A resident thanked the crew that contributed time and money to move the Melrose veterans memorial back to the corner of Route 40 and Melrose Valley Falls Road. A resident asked about the tax-cap law to override the tax-levy limit. A representative from the Melrose Fire District commented regarding the Ambulance District.
