Fuller One-Lot Subdivision — pre-filing conference
Tom Fuller appeared to propose a one-lot, 3-acre subdivision from a 288-acre parcel in an RA district at the Wertman Farm, 311 Pinewoods Road. He submitted a tax-map copy showing the proposed subdivision (marked in red) and a Google Earth image, noting there is ample road frontage. Mr. Fuller explained that his in-laws live on the adjacent property, where an existing well sits about 250 feet from the proposed residence, and that he intends to use that well as the water source; deeded rights and an easement to the well had been established by the former owner of the property. Chairman Alessandrini noted that the Rensselaer County Health Department (RCHD) would determine whether the well location on the adjacent property is acceptable, and that a septic design and RCHD approval are required before the Board can grant final approval. An earlier subdivision of the property was completed in January 2004, a year before revisions to the Town Zoning Code. The applicant was given an application, short-form EAF, and Agricultural Data Statement; the application, $180 fee, data statement, EAF, and 8 survey maps must be submitted by the 15th of the month to schedule a public hearing for the following month.
Other
Chairman Alessandrini noted that a workshop meeting is scheduled for January 17, 2019 at 6 PM to discuss the rough draft of the Zoning Law review.
